No kitchen is complete without a place to eat. If you are looking to install a breakfast nook you can build your own and make your own cushions at little cost. I decided to install a breakfast nook in my kitchen to save on space. The first step is to pick a spot in your kitchen where you want to put your table. It is important to plan out your breakfast nook and make a drawing of how big you want the bench, table to be and how many chairs you are going to have. In my my case I have my door to the outside with a large window to one side so I planned an L-shaped bench with a smaller table and three chairs. Next go to the hardware store and purchase the wood you need to build the bench. If you are handy you can cut the wood at home by yourself. If you are not handy or don't have the tools to cut the wood you can measure out the length of the wood before you go to the store and have them cut it for you. Ayyam-i-Ha is the Baha'i gift giving holiday and after looking for endlessly for gift tags for my families gifts there were none to be found. So I decided to share the ones that I made that can be printed right at home on sticker paper. They are great especially if you have multiple gifts for your family. Purchase the correct printer paper from your local office supply store. In order for the tags to be sticker they must be printed on the correct paper, you should be able to purchase it at an office supply store.
